Working with Tzannes is as much about teamwork and collaboration as it is about good process. Everything we do is subject to rigorous analysis and debate, from a range of viewpoints – all options are laid out and carefully considered. The result is always substantially more than the sum of its parts, with the conceptual rigour, robust design and clarity for which Tzannes is well known.

BArch (Hons I), BA

George Korban joined Tzannes in 2001 following seven years at the Sydney office of Denton Corker Marshall, and became a Design Lead in 2021.

George, with more than 25 years in the industry, is a highly skilled architect with well-rounded experience across all aspects of architecture. He is known for his thoroughness, commitment and perseverance. He has delivered some of our largest private residences, high-rise and low-rise apartments blocks, as well as educational projects.

Two particularly high-profile private residences George worked on were among the most complex and challenging Tzannes has been involved with. These projects each ran for several years and involved huge teams of consultants collaborating to produce houses of exceptional quality.

George’s exceptional communication skills and insightful knowledge of Tzannes ensure that the distinctive attributes of our core values, principles and culture are embedded within every project and employee work ethos. As a Design Lead, George has a major role in mentoring our next generation, offering advice, expertise and assistance – a responsibility that he finds both stimulating and fulfilling.
