Ridge Street

The intricate sawtooth brickwork on this adaptive reuse design provides for a highly dynamic and continually evolving pattern of shadows.

Located adjacent to a row of listed buildings within a Heritage Conservation Area, this c1891 late Victorian terrace was refurbished and restored as a commercial HQ for our client in the financial industry.

Deliberately singular and distinctly contemporary, the articulated brickwork and steel framed addition complements the materiality of the original building. Its curved form, height and fenestration mediate the change of scale on the street and ensure privacy for the adjoining neighbours.
