The City of Sydney Council this week announced Tzannes Associates and ABUD (Australian Built Urban Design) as the winners of a competition to design a new range of public domain elements, including seats, bollards, bubblers, lights, bins, dining barriers and tree guards. Our conceptual design for the elements is derived from our appreciation and enjoyment of Sydney’s unique physical and cultural characteristics and the translation of this into a suite of elegant forms.
We look forward to working with the City of Sydney in developing this range and adding to our product design portfolio. Our collaborative venture with ABUD will begin early in 2012 with the development and prototyping phase for each of the elements in conjunction with the City’s design team.
