Public Architecture

Understanding time and place

Public buildings, communal open space and landmarks form a vital and dynamic part of city and town life. Distinct from many other project types, they need to speak to (and for) a wide and diverse group of people and convey contemporary social values. Public buildings should reach beyond the representational to be legible, accessible to all and fundamentally contribute to a vibrant and active public domain. We are continuously engaged with the question of how Tzannes’ architectural response delivers a better place for everyone to value.
